Raising a family is hard, so instead, how about we raise the dead. Turn the living to dead, then bring the dead to the living again. Be a weird reaper with a cool stick instead of a scythe. Observe and interact with your ghoulish virtual pets. How many ghouls can you make? (As of right now 3) How many variations can you discover??!!(As of right now 1...) Have fun and remember to have fun. Have fun ;D

This was made for and submitted to The Worst Game Jam July 2025 (https://itch.io/jam/the-worst-game-jam-3) and it is currently a WIP. Think of it like a preview or a demo. Oh, and have fun :)

As of right now, this ROM is only compatible with a Game Boy Color, it will not work on a regular Game Boy. I plan on making it compatible in the future.

your pixel art turned out BEEAAAUTIFULLYYYY the backgrounds and splash pages were especially gorgeous, and the animations were also so fun. and of course love the tamagotchi idea haha

I didn't really get it at first, but the idea that it's a tamagotchi type of thing is awesome and right up my alley. The ghoul sprite is cute! I hope you keep adding to it!!
I mean first of all it must be said this game is GORGEOUS. All the backgrounds are beautiful and the ghouls are a really good balance of creepy and cute. I can't say I was a very good pet owner though. Poor guys. I love all the ideas in your devlog and would love to see how they work in game :)
